Not an awful lot to look at currently onsite, foundations have been laid for our new build project along East Wittering seafront.
With the demolition of an existing bungalow structure (including the relocation of old train carriages used for the existing house structure), works are now progressing at a pace onsite.
JB Architecture was appointed to complete the necessary detailing works for the building regulations application whilst also working alongside the client in order to clear planning conditions from the planning approval.

One of the main client requirements for this project alongside the detailing works for the extension was to upgrade the acoustics within the existing property.
This led to us researching and detailing information for the tendering contractors in order to give the clients an adequately soundproofed family home.
With the creation of a large family room at ground floor level and master bedroom ensuite at first floor this project was designed in order to create a lifetime family home.

Progress on site has been fast since the contractors broke ground in late December!
With the creation of an annex structure for our client’s parents to the side of their existing property, this large single sotrey extension offers a bedroom, kitchen and large open plan living space.
Looking out onto what will be a newly landscaped garden area along with a stunning scenic outlook beyond our clients are sure to be happy upon completion.

Extension offers our clients a family room with a cantilevered flat roof constriction above allowing for uninterrupted views out to the stunning landscape.
Due to no structural post being installed for the support of the flat roof above the sliding doors simply slide back allowing for a clear view/passageway between the internal and external areas of the building.
