Consisting of a large single storey extension to the rear along with a loft conversion our clients have created a light open plan living space.

With an open-plan kitchen dining area looking out onto a landscaped garden, this project gives our clients the perfect area to entertain family and friends.

The loft conversion also offers a guest suite for family and friends to stay.

Working with the structural engineer’s JB Architecture was able to design a lightweight structure that could be hidden within ceiling and wall constructions. This allowed for no bulkheads throughout which maximises the amount of natural light entering through the large sliding doors, sky lights and lanterns.

JB Architecture was appointed to obtain both Planning and Building Regulation approvals for this project.

Consisting of a small single-storey lower ground floor extension allowing for the creation of a kitchen dining space.

JB Architecture Design Ltd was aided by the client (a qualified structural engineer) to design a piled extension area off of the existing piled house.

This allowed for the lower ground floor section of the building to be better utilised by our clients allowing for the kitchen area to be relocated to the lower ground floor area of the property.

Along with the landscaped garden area, our clients have transformed this property, allowing for additional family space to be created within.

The extension area also utilises and maximizes the amount of natural light entering via the installation of skylights within the kitchen area and the bi-folding doors.

JB Architecture was appointed to obtain the Planning and Building Regulation approvals for this single-storey extension.

EAST WITTERING NEW BUILD, 3D VISUALISATION WORKS

Slightly different post from us today.

We wanted to share some of our 3D visualisations from Autodesk Revit of a potential new build in East Wittering.

Both Jimmy & Liam have been hard at work bringing our client's brief to life with these amazing images.

As a firm JB Architecture Design Ltd hope to be able to offer this service to more of our clients moving forward from January 2023 within our fee quotations.

 

EAST WITTERING, NEW BUILD, COMPLETION PHOTOS

East Wittering new build project is now complete.

With the demolition of an existing bungalow structure (including the relocation of old train carriages used for the existing house structure), the site has now been completely transformed.

With the inclusion of engineered joists ts at first-floor level we were able to hide many service runs and large sections steelwork throughout allowing for greater amounts of open-plan habitable space.

JB Architecture was appointed to complete the necessary detailing works for the building regulations application whilst also working alongside the client to clear planning conditions from the planning approval.

With an open plan kitchen dining area looking out onto a landscaped garden and the sea this project gives our clients the perfect area to entertain family and friends.

Pictures taken during our recent site visit to a large dormer installation to existing first-floor accommodation over a stable block.

Working with the structural engineer’s JB Architecture was able to design a lightweight structure that could be constructed off of the existing structure in order to gain as much habitable space within the attic.

Once complete this dormer will allow for uninterrupted views over the surrounding stunning landscape.

Another large project that JB Architecture currently has onsite consists of a whole house renovation, first-floor front extension (over the garage existing area), & garage conversion.

JB Architecture was tasked with creating additional bedroom space and also opening up the existing ground floor area allowing for open plan living at ground floor level.

SIDLESHAM NEW BUILD PROJECT, SITE VISIT PICTURES

Sidlesham new build project is progressing at a fast pace on site.

With an open plan layout at ground floor level and full height glazing throughout this new build is sure to stand out from the crowd upon completion.

At the first-floor level, there is a master suite, 3 additional bedrooms, and an atrium over the entrance lobby at the ground floor level.

The barrel roof construction offers an alternative to the standard pitched / flat roof design whilst also maximising internal head height and meeting planning requirements regarding the ridge height of the new build.

Working alongside a planning consultant JB Architecture was able to obtain planning approval on a very complex site.

CHICHESTER SINGLE STOREY EXTENSION, COMPLETION PHOTOS

Consisting of a large kitchen, dining, and family room that looks out onto a landscaped garden, this project gives our clients the perfect area to entertain family and friends.

Retaining as much of the existing structure as possible the proposals connect the existing garage area to the main house via a single-storey extension.

This allowed our client’s budget to stretch further utilising existing non-insulated structures and upgrading them within bringing them up to modern-day u-value requirements.

There are also 2 large roof lanterns that allow for natural light to enter the extended area.

PETERSFIELD, TWO STOREY EXTENSION, SITE VISIT PICTURES

Petersfield two-storey side extension gets underway on site.

Not a lot to look at currently but the large open plan ground floor family/garden room area can clearly be seen from these site pictures.

Consisting of a large open family/garden room at ground floor level and a master bedroom suite at first-floor level this extension is sure to give our clients much-needed space as their family grows.

The single-storey section of the works will benefit from stunning views out onto a newly landscaped garden area following the project’s completion.

Our clients also requested additional acoustic upgrades throughout the existing property.

This consisted of additional construction detailing allowing for approved British Gypsum soundproofing systems to be installed to all partition walls and ceiling constructions.

JB Architecture was appointed to obtain both Planning and Building Regulation approvals for this garden room/home cinema single-storey extension.

Extension offers our clients a family room with a cantilevered pitched roof constriction above allowing for uninterrupted views out to the stunning landscape.

Within the vaulted pitched roof construction, a drop-down cinema screen and accompanying projected will be hidden from view until required by our clients.

Due to no structural post being installed for the support of the pitched roof above the bi-folding simply slide back allowing for a clear view/passageway between the internal and external areas of the building.

JB Architecture was appointed in order to obtain both Planning and Building Regulation approvals for a this single storey rear extension and loft conversion project in Emsworth.

The single storey extension offers our clients a garden room with a cantilevered flat roof construction above allowing for uninterrupted views out to the tiered landscaped garden area.

Due to no structural post being installed for the support of the flat roof above the bi-folding doors simply slide back allowing for a clear view/passageway between the internal and external areas of the building.
